Other than that, I don't have much to report. Josh has Monday off so we're going wild. We might go to Ogden, Salt Lake, or maybe even hit up Utah County. I'll keep you posted because there are a few people in that neck of the woods, (namely a certain pregnant girl) that I want to see. There are others too, but to sort of echo your words Fro, "I'd see you if you had kids." haha...just kidding, that was a stretch. Anyways, it should be fun. This is random, but one thing I recently learned about my mother ship of Provo, is that they don't really make recycling easy. On Mother's day I asked my mom if she had a recycling bin so I could throw some stuff in it, and I learned that Provo makes you pay for a separate recycling bin. That's sad. Logan has a really good recycling program set up. There are bins littering (no pun intended) campus, and most public buildings. Every apartment I've been in has a recycling bin for every trash can. It's great! I'm not the biggest "green" person, but I've become so used to how easy it is to recycle that I feel bad when I don't do it. So yeah, there's my plug. I like to recycle.
The other night Josh and I redboxed this. My only complaint was that the entire movie I knew it would have a horrible ending. It's historically accurate which meant that I knew the plan failed. Hitler lived and they were all executed. (Sorry if I spoiled it, but if you don't know how WW2 ended foof to you.) It drops the F-bomb once, and you see a few of the men get shot at the end, but it was still amazing. Super sad, but amazing. The next WW2 movie I'm eager to see is this one, but I hear it's a tear jerker. I'm not sure what my fascination with the war is, but I could learn about it everyday all day.
The end.
B.
ummmm. yes. you should definitely make your way down to these parts. and simply limeade is simply the best. (so is simply lemonade) danny and i are big-time supporters of that delicious stuff. too bad it costs SO much.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember saying that, but you know, I could've.. sounds like me.
ReplyDeleteI tweaked the quote a bit. It was something more like, "I'd give you presents if you had kids." Rest assured, if we come down I'll give you both a call!
ReplyDeleteThe Boy in the Striped Pajamas is EXCELLENT! I've seen both of those movies, and (in my opinion) TBITSP is definitely the better of the two. And I'm kinda the same as you -- I have a fascination with The Holocaust... I don't know why, but I've always loved the Anne Frank story.
ReplyDeleteThe boy in the striped Pajamas was SO good! I have a fascination with WW2 and the Holocaust as well.
