Break's over

Ok, so I guess Jessica was right. I didn't stay away for very long but hey, these 3 days of no blogging have been great. The whole time however, I was thinking in terms of the blog. I kept thinking, "oh that would be funny to blog about" or I'd find a old picture I thought I'd share, etc. I live my life with my blog in the back of my mind. I decided that's not necessarily a bad thing though, because it forces me to take note of delightful happenings. So, here's what I've been thinking about blogging about.

*Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I thought I'd write a few things I'm thankful for. This will be a short list of the most essentials. Here it is:
Josh
{especially through the last few weeks. i've turned into a total weirdo and he's been great.}
My Faith
Family
Temples
Friends
My Job
My Health
{even though lately I sound like a grandpa and haven't been very successful with keeping certain stuff in my nose
...}
Happiness
Jim Henson
{yes, he made the cut. take note that both "jim" and "henson" are hyper linked separately.}

Also, the other day I had my very own My Life Is Average moment. I was in the bathroom in the ESLC on campus when all of the sudden the girl in the next stall started singing, "Big, Blonde, and Beautiful." If you've ever lived with me, listened to my ipod, performed at the homecoming '04 game with me in those hideous neon wigs, or had a discussion with me about musicals, you probably know my tender feelings towards this particular one. I know all the songs by heart and almost shouted when she started to sing. What was I to do? Sing along with her? Laugh? Show my support by having a dance party in my stall? Applaud? I was sort of cowardly and silently enjoyed my free concert. I'm thinking that's what the girl would have wanted. She brought a lot of happiness to me at that moment and I'm gald I decided not to wait to use the John until I got home. :)

I'll leave you with a picture that describes how I've been feeling as of late.

I know it looks like I'm wearing an extremely low cut shirt, but don't be alarmed, there's really a yellow shirt under there. Oh the things Polaroiding a picture can do to the coloring.

One last thing. Today, I signed an assignment "Brittany Mangelson". Technically, I'm still Herdman in the eyes of Utah State University because I didn't get my name changed before the semester started. Driving down to Ogden and standing in a 3 hour line just doesn't sound like fun. I need to do it though because hunting through a pile of 60 papers to change your name and have your professor make fun of you for being "newly married" isn't cool. Neither is explaining that your year anniversary is around the corner and you have two different last names depending on who you're talking to. This is the third time I've done this.
